Kelsey Linnartz is a live illustrator based in Charleston, South Carolina, known for bringing an interactive artistic experience to private parties and brand activations through her live portrait illustrations.

She grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, and studied Apparel Design and Manufacturing at Texas Tech University before moving to New York City. In 2020, during the pandemic (what a time), Kelsey launched her illustration business, previously known as "LinnArtzy," designing thoughtful greeting cards to share encouragement when the world needed it most. What started as cards soon grew into live illustration for top brands at their events. (Very serious businesswoman, very unserious art.)

After years working in NYC's fashion industry with incredible teams, Kelsey kept dreaming of turning her side hustle into her main hustle. In 2024, she took the leap, leaving her full-time role as an artist for Golden Goose to become a full-time freelance illustrator. It's a story she loves telling, and one she's shared on several podcasts (scroll down for links).

In Spring 2025, Kelsey relocated to Charleston, where she creates live illustrations at luxury events across the city and beyond. Her business has since grown to include luxury fashion product personalization, live wedding illustration, children's book illustration, and vibrant murals and painted canvases.

At the heart of it all, her art is about celebrating joy and finding the beauty in each person she draws, a style that blends fashion illustration with calligraphy, rooted in encouragement, connection, and creativity. Kelsey doesn't just bring the energy to a party, she captures it. Every guest she draws, whether at a wedding or a brand activation, gets sketched like the main character they are.
